Anyone who knows Dane Waites would know he loves running more than anything and that his hero is ultra marathon runner Pat Farmer.
Pat Farmer is a multiple world record holder for endurance running. He has run from the North Pole to the South, and across Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, the Middle East and North America.
And now, Pat Farmer has donated a signed jersey, which has been framed by Pambula Glass, to be auctioned off at this Saturday’s fundraiser for Dane’s Perth to Pambula dream.
Be part of a fun filled event that will include talks from football legend Spida Everitt, entertainment by comedian Rob Brown, auctions, raffles and rock.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 10 at the Pambula Surf Lifesaving Club at 6.30pm. Tickets can be purchased from Sportspower Merimbula and Bega or through farsouthcoast.localtickets.net.au This is an over 18's event.
