Boys and girls with a valid registration are invited to a basketball skills day at Lumen Christi Catholic College later this month.
On Sunday, July 24, from 1pm, NSW Basketball in conjunction with the Merimbula Sharks will be running an under 12s basketball skills and sevelopment day
Participating children will get a T-shirt and learn amazing new drills and skills – while having loads of fun!
From these one day camps, 192 children from NSW get a chance at selection to the U12 Jamboree in September.
Local coaches are also encouraged to attend to join in and learn new skills.
Registration for the skills day is available via an online form found on the Merimbula Basketball Facebook page. There is a fee involved.
On the same day a referees clinic will also be held from 11am until 1pm, open to anyone.
All children and adults from under 12s right through to the senior division are encouraged to attend.
Ideally senior teams should endeavour to have at least one member from your team attend.
There is no written exam. It is an introductory course and each person will be issued with a rules booklet.
