The Tura Marrang Library and Community Centre officially opened its doors on Saturday, June 25 and the community enjoyed not only the chance to see the new library but also activities such as face painting, Minecraft and a sausage sizzle.

Makayla, Pepper, Pyper and Addyson loved trying out the purple chair at the new library and also enjoyed the face painting.

STORYTIME: There is nothing like a good story to keep young ones enthralled and Mayah, Leah and Kayla enjoyed just that during their visit to the Tura Marrang Library and Community Centre.

With the promise of a sausage sizzle, the Lions Club members were kept very busy on the barbecue at the opening of the new library.

Dr Alex Byrne, BVS mayor Michael Britten and member for Bega, Andrew Constance cut the ribbon at the opening on Saturday, June 25.
