On Friday evening eight local men and women will be taking to the dance floor to show off the fancy footwork they have learnt over the last couple of weeks as part of the Stars of Bega Valley Dance for Cancer gala dinner.
Editor Ben Smyth, Nat Kirby from Merimbula Tourism, Jacqui Smith from Wheelers Restaurant, Bega businessman Mal Barnes, Pambula Bike Show organiser Glenn Cotter, 2EC presenter Geordi Norton, Pambula’s Jess Ryan and local musician, Paul Dion have all been partnered with local professional dancers.
Hosted by Club Sapphire, the evening is a major fundraiser for the Cancer Council but promises glitz, glamour, a few surprises and a few laughs. Tickets are currently available for the event which includes a three course dinner and music from King Kong's Hat. Each star is also fundraising through Everydayhero.com.au, so please give generously.
Contact Club Sapphire by Thursday to book tickets at $75 or $50 for under 17s. Money raised goes towards local cancer support projects.
