Last Thursday the Merimbula District Netball Association held their junior grand finals and presentation evening.
The NetSetGo girls kicked off the night, displaying all the skills they had learnt throughout the season impressing both their parents and their coaches with how much they had improved.
Next up was the much anticipated juniors grand final between blue and green. These two teams had showed huge amounts of determination throughout the season and the grand final was fought hard right up until the final whistle in which blue pulled a head by three goals.
Last up was the Intermediates which was once again a tough contest between red and yellow. The shooters for both teams were on fire but red came out on top with a comfortable victory.
Following the games were the presentations where coaches and most improved awards were given out to the most dedicated players.
Club secretary Megan Wright thanked all the volunteers for coaching, umpiring and helping out to make a such a successful season.
Merimbula netball will start up again in September.
