The Greater Southern Stingrays under 18s and 16s teams played its third and final round of the preliminary matches of the Country Championships.
The Stingrays tackled two well-drilled Western Rams teams.
The Rams were too strong in each grade and won the under 18s, 44-10, and the under 16s, 34-10.
Vincent Worthley of Eden and Bradley Kilmore of Kiama scored tries in the second half of the under 16s game for the Stingrays. KiIlmore kicked one conversion.
Zach Cuzner of Bega bagged a double for the Stingrays under 18s team and Tyson Simpson of Nowra-Bomaderry potted a conversion.
The semi-finals of the under 18s and 16s Country Championships kick off in Dubbo on April 30.
