fLiNG Physical Theatre, Footprint Theatre Inc. and the Yuin Folk Club have all been awarded a share of $9,000 in NSW Government funding.
Member for Bega Andrew Constance said the three local Art groups will receive funding through the Country Arts Support Program, administered by Regional Arts NSW on behalf of Arts NSW Country.
fLiNG Physical Theatre will receive $3,000 towards their production of “We Will Come To The Rescue”.
Another $3,000 will go to Footprint Theatre Inc towards their 2016 Film School and the last $3,000 is for Yuin Folk Club Inc to use towards Language Retrieval and Songwriting in the Dhiurga (Yuin) Language.
“I would like to congratulate you all on your success and wish you well completing the project for our local communities to enjoy in the New Year,” Mr Constance said.
“This funding showcases the NSW Liberals & Nationals Government’s commitment to increasing opportunities for participation in arts and cultural activities in local communities”.
“Our local region is full of artistic talent and I’m chuffed to be able to support our arts community to develop new skills and reach new audiences,” he said.
