Merimbula butcher, David Goodalls is celebrating a couple of significant wins at the NSW and ACT Australian Meat Industry Council smallgoods competition after being awarded a silver medal for his bacon and bronze medal for his boneless leg ham.

David entered last year and received a bronze medal for his bacon but after taking advice from taking advice from Bob Dyson, of Tura Beach, who used to run a smallgoods manufacturing company in Melbourne, he improved his rankings.
The NSW and ACT Australian Meat Industry Council smallgoods competition is open to all ACT and NSW butchers and David said he was really delighted to have received the medals and put his added success down to the tips he received from Bob.
