This annual awards program is initiated by PRIME7 and the Commonwealth Bank and provides and opportunity for communities to showcase their commitment to their community and be recognised state wide. With fantastic prizes, the Awards reward the hard working people of our remote and regional areas in NSW and the ACT.
The Pambula Motorfest (PMF) is a motoring genre, family friendly event run to raise funds for the local community.
As annual event usually held in April each year however due to poor weather was postponed to September. The 2013 PMF event saw over 250 vehicles entered and over 7000 spectators through the gate with the hope to increase for 2014. The PMF comprises of motor vehicles and machinery of all categories on display. The Motorfest includes more than just vehicles and the committee is striving to include activities to include all members of the family with interactive demonstrations, a swap meet, trade stalls, kid’s corner and entertainment, food and vendor stalls with the help of the local community.
With strong community support, funds raised from the PMF are donated to local charities and community groups, with over $18,000 donated after the 2013 event to the Pambula Hospital Auxiliary and to local community members battling life threatening illness.
Winners will be announced at a Gala Presentation to be held at the Wagga Wagga RSL Saturday, November 1.
