Surf Life Saving support operations and emergency callout teams are on high-alert following the deaths of two surfers in the last week in NSW.
A South-Easterly swell is expected to reach 3 to 4 metres at its peak, with a long swell period of around 12-14 seconds.
These conditions will be hazardous for coastal activities such as swimming, surfing and rock fishing.
Conditions are expected to ease on Friday.
