With a program jam-packed with live entertainment, kids activities, demonstrations, inspirational speeches, ceremonies, community service stalls and more – where would you rather be than with a few hundred of your closest friends, walking a track to raise funds for cancer?
Before the main event, there will be an official launch to kick off the new season of the Relay For Life. Tim and Dennis Parkes of the Merimbula Picture Show Man, will play host to the launch which will be a premiere screening of the highly-anticipated film 'Mrs Brown’s Boys' on Monday, July 21.
“We’re stoked to be part of this community event, being strong supporters of the Relay For Life for many years now,” operations manager Tim Parkes said. “What better way to warm up a winter week than in a toasty movie theatre; with popcorn and that warm, fuzzy feeling you get from raising funds to cure cancer!”
The event will direct all proceeds to the Bega Valley Relay For Life, and organisers invite all members of the community to show their support by coming along and catching the film. Ticket fee includes nibblies on arrival and special deals at the Candy Store – so get in quick as tickets are limited.
