As groups of families and friends enjoyed nibbles and drinks, Don ‘Crazy’ Mason called the questions. There were plenty of AFL and NRL questions and several rounds of general knowledge which were cleverly interspersed with questions about being prepared for a bushfire, ensuring everyone got the critical messages about the necessity for preparedness and planning.
Throughout the evening there were plenty of raffle prizes many of which had been donated by local businesses.
The winning team ‘Trivia Tragics’ picked up the $200 prize but was quick to donate it back to the cause.
