Local police have been involved in a cannabis bust in Red Gum Road, Yellow Pinch where they seized 20 plants with an estimated street value of $30,000.

A 58-year-old female and a 39-year-old female will both face Bega Local Court next month in relation to the cultivation and possession of cannabis plants after police executed a search warrant on the premises in Red Gum Road on Thursday, January 30.
A 35-year-old male at the same address was arrested and charged with breaking and entering Sportspower Merimbula on August 19, 2013 where sporting apparel and glasses were stolen.
Sergeant Cliff Scarlett of Merimbula Police said that he had been linked to the offence through DNA and will face Bega Local Court later this month.
