A man who allegedly stood outside another person's home wielding a revving chainsaw has been charged with intimidation.

Police say on Friday afternoon, January 31, a 31-year-old man went to a house on Williams Street at Candelo, and threatened a man inside.
He returned a short time later and stood outside allegedly revving a chainsaw.
Police cars from Merimbula, Bemboka, Tathra and the Far South Coast Highway patrol were tasked to the property but the man had fled before they arrived.
The incident which developed around 2pm centred around the park at Candelo, residential property in Williams Street and another property in Wheatley Lane.
Police say a chainsaw was found at a house nearby.
The 31-year-old was charged with multiple offices, including intimidation and custody of a knife in public.
He was refused bail to appear before Batemans Bay Local Court on Saturday.
