High school students from Eden Marine High School, Bega High School and Lumen Christi Catholic College and Sapphire Coast Anglican College were at the Picture Show Man cinema, Merimbula on Monday, November 11 to view the films made as part of the Mindbenders project.

Run by the Bega Valley Community Drug Action Team, the project involves students from each year and all four high schools in the Bega Valley who are invited to make a four- minute film giving their ideas on alcohol and drug matters in the area.
Students can use documentary, cartoon, drama, comedy or filmed performance of music or drama for their Mindbenders project film.
The Drug Action Team has identified working with youth and targeting alcohol and cannabis as its main project areas.
