Aitken was named as centre in the 17-man squad that will tour New Zealand in September and October.
The Illawarra Sports High School student will be joined in the team by his schoolmates Thomas Freebairn and Jackson Hastings.
Aitken was chosen after his standout performance with the NSW Combined High Schools (NSWCHS) team that contested the recent Australian Schoolboys Championships held at Cairns.
The NSWCHS side won the championship after defeating arch rivals Queensland 26-22 in a thrilling final.
The side went through the competition undefeated and recorded a number of massive wins along the way, including a 68-8 victory over the ACT and having defeated NSW Combined Independent Schools 58-8.
