Senior Project Manager

Your new company
Our client is a large reputable telecommunications business; they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. On offer is a 5-month contract with the possibility for a further 12 month extension beyond this, you will be working on a large program of work for one of their financial services client.

Your new role
Working within the Business Technology Solutions Team, as the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

• At a strategic level you will be establishing and managing budgets, deliverables, milestones, and timeframes for the program of work to ensure all deliverables are measured and met
• Managing the delivery of a large, fixed line migration project for your client
• Creating the project/program schedules and plans to support and track milestone delivery
• Providing high level project reports to key stakeholders
• Working with a matrix-team of multi-talented people from across geographical locations, cultures, and organisations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager delivering complex customer projects within the Telecommunications and/or Finance industries
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes that are aligned to strategic objectives
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working remotely with team members and stakeholders
• Experience working in a highly matrixed, agile organisation
• Strong leadership skills
