Full job description

Your new company
Our client is an established civil contractor who have recently been awarded a significant package of work in the Pilbara. As a result, they have a need for an OHS Officer to join their team on FIFO basis.

Your new role
As an OHS Officer you will be responsible for identifying hazards, assessing risk, developing and implementing appropriate safety controls, conducting investigations where necessary and providing advice on accident and incident prevention and occupational health and safety. You will also be responsible for promoting sound occupational health and safety working practices, and producing reports, policies, procedures and manuals

What you'll need to succeed

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Have proven occupational health and safety experience
  • Demonstrate adherence to accident and reporting procedures
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Have experience in working in a FIFO role would be advantageous
