Your new company
Your new company is a leading pioneer in the technology market. With business segments providing advanced defence and commercial technologies across air, land, sea, space and cyber domains, this company has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Scheduler to join their team based in Brisbane.

Your new role
In your role as a Lead Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for maintaining the Earned Value Measurement (EVM) System and assist Project Managers and Control Account Managers (CAMs) with all aspects of the EVM process.
Your key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for L200 Project EVM System maintenance in accordance with customer approved EVM Plan
  • Assist CAMs with cost & schedule variance analysis against the Performance Measurement Baseline
  • Assist Project Controls Manager with customer and internal reporting
  • Provide assistance to the Project Controls Manager in the planning and preparation of customer reviews.
  • Provide cost & schedule assistance to other projects and proposals as required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will previous experience as a Lead Project Scheduler within the Defence Industry. You will also possess:

  • Tertiary Qualifications (e.g., Accounting, IT, Engineering, Project Management or Business)
  • Strong analytical skills – to ensure accuracy of project performance analysis and reporting
  • Advanced Excel
  • Good leadership skills – to work with all levels of managers involved in the project
  • Good communication skills – ability to tailor information and data for clear presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management
  • ASDEFCON contract experience
  • Earned Value Management
  • Scheduling tools (e.g. OPP, Primavera or MS Project)

Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to have a NV1 security clearance.
