Everyone is invited to celebrate Bega Valley Shire’s very first Multicultural Day this Saturday, August 11.

“Absolutely everyone is welcome, we will provide a flag for each nationality on arrival.
“We encourage each of those nationalities to bring a plate of food and some items of interest to their culture for display,” Mr Bell said.
The day will be an excellent opportunity to form social networks and friendships. Visiting performers from Canberra and Cooma will put on a show.
Zorba the Greek dance at 12.30pm will be one you can not miss!
“The event is free and will be life changing for people, it’s amazing who is out there,” Mr Bell said.
The SJA have connected people across the shire and regularly host weekend trips for refugee families from Sydney and Canberra. They are excited to provide this inaugural event and look forward to hosting it in years to come.
The whole community is invited to attend the event which runs from 9.30am to 4pm this Satuday, August 11.
