Around 25 motorcycles with riders and passengers travelled from Bermagui and Pambula, collecting Christmas toys and gifts before converging at Littleton Gardens in Bega.
The annual toy run is coordinated by the Sapphire Coast Ulysses club, but all bikers are invited to join in. This year Ulysses members were joined by CRABS from Bermagui and Bike Riding Enthusiasts of Wolumla (BREW) as well as several just out enjoying the ride on a stunning Saturday.
The large collection of toys and gifts have been added to the Bega District News Christmas Toy Drive for distribution to the region’s less fortunate. Of special note is a donation worth $500 from BREW.
“Once again the Sapphire Coast bikers have outdone themselves in supporting this cause and we are so grateful, as I’m sure will be the local children who receive these gifts as well,” editor Ben Smyth said.
