She was one of 12 girls selected from a pool of 36 players in the southern region.
Jorja played for the Flying Piglets, a combined team of the Far South Coast Falcons and the Jindabye Bushpigs, who won the inaugural ACT and SNSW Girls Rugby 10s competition this year.
Four of her teammates, Lilly Bennett of Narooma, Tamica Millard of Pambula and Rhianna and Kirra Burke of Jindabyne have also made the Brumbies squad.
They head to the national competition in Brisbane on December 9 and 10, where they will compete against other state teams.
It is the first time Jorja has played at a national level and she is selling raffle tickets to cover her trip.
“I’m nervous, but also really excited,” she said.
Jorja will look to her older teammates for guidance during the competition.
“They’ve been really supportive, it helps to have role models I can follow in the footsteps of,” she said.
