A 47-year-old Tathra woman was taken to South East Regional Hospital on Friday, November 17 after a head-on vehicle collision on Sapphire Coast Dr, Bournda.

She was released on Sunday with a laceration to the side of her head and bruising to her legs after becoming crushed by her driver’s side door.
The incident occurred 1km north of Red Hill Rd after 3pm when a 33-year-old Wallagoot woman lost control of her Mazda hatchback, which skidded to other side of the highway and collided with a Hyundai Sonata.
The highway was closed for about an hour as emergency services attended the scene.
The Wallagoot woman suffered leg injuries.
Police are still investigating.
Meanwhile a 19-year-old Cooma man has been charged with mid-range drink driving after rolling his car on the Princes Hwy near Eden in the early hours of Saturday, November 18.
Police and paramedics were called out after midnight when a Toyota Hilux travelling south lost control near the intersection of Haycock Rd, sliding across the northbound lane and rolling down an embankment before the roof collided with a tree.
The man, who was uninjured, was arrested and taken to Eden Police Station after returning a positive breath test.
His license has been suspended and he will front Eden Local Court.
