Ms Pulling, who locals will recognise from Merimbula Fresh Seafoods, said she was inspired to donate her hair after speaking with customers who had undergone treatment for cancer.
“Dave, my boss, knows Helena from the wig library and that led to the donation,” Ms Pulling said.
She will have her hair cut at Studio III Merimbula on December 16.
“I’ve always had long hair, so it’s going to feel a little different,” Ms Pulling said.
“It’s good to change it up and try something different. And it’ll grow back.”
Bega Valley Wig Library coordinator Helena Katerinka was thrilled with Ms Pulling’s decision and encouraged others going the snip to think about donating their hair to the library.
Those wishing to donate money to the wig library – which assists women undergoing cancer treatment – can do so at the seafood shop or hairdresser.
