The bulk of the rainfall came on October 26 and 27, when the station received 18.4mm.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology’s climate outlook for November to January, there is up to a 60 per cent chance of exceeding median rainfall.
The outlook also suggests Merimbula has up to a 65 per cent chance of exceeding its median maximum temperature.
Climate drivers are not pushing towards a particular wetter or drier season than usual, while soil remains dry across south-east NSW.
