Bega Valley Shire Council’s director of planning and environment, Andrew Woodley, announced his resignation and left council on Friday, October 27.

His roles included land use policy and planning and development assessment among others.
Council general manager Leanne Barnes said Mr Woodley’s contribution to council and the broader community over the past 10 years had been significant.
“His knowledge and professionalism is widely acknowledged and has led to a great number of successful projects, plans and services,” Ms Barnes said.
“We wish Andrew and his family all the very best for where the future may take them – after he has a well-deserved holiday.”
Council manager of planning services, Keith Tull, will be acting director of planning and environment.
