One student will be selected to represent the shire as a student ambassador. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age as at January 1, 2018. BLCE will cover the cost of return air fares from Bega to Littleton and accommodation expenses en route.
This trip is a wonderful opportunity for a student to experience life in another country and at the same time be an ambassador for their family, their school and the Bega Valley. Delegation members will be hosted by two families during their 10-day stay in Littleton and will attend civic and social functions.
Applications close on November 17. A shortlist of applicants will be asked to develop a presentation suitable for delivery at functions while in Littleton. There will be a personal interview and student's presentations will be made at a function on the evening of January 26.
