The second hand styles were sent down the catwalk in front of a crowd of 130, who responded with with loud cheers and whistles.
The event was the annual fundraiser for the Reaching Out Foundation, who partnered with four local op shops to bring the show to the Lakeview Hotel on Friday night.
Reaching Out Foundation Chairman Ross Williams reported over $6000 was raised on the evening.
The theme for the evening was Going Wild, and the crowd had their chance to get on stage and show off their own looks during the best dressed competition. Prizes were awarded for the best looks.
Special guests Kath and Kim joined the show all the way from Fountain Lakes, and kept the crowd rolling in laughs with classic lines from the popular Australian TV series mixed in with some local flair.
Mr Willams said he will be taking the chance to thank all of the contributors to the fundraising event personally over the next few days, but wanted to make special mention of Reaching Out Foundation director and “fundraiser extraordinaire”, Danielle Collins.
He also predicted next year would be a record breaker for the foundation’s fundraising, with Merimbula Realty committing $100 from each property sale and $30 from each new property rental to the Reaching Out Foundation.
Mr Williams also extended a special thanks to Morgans Financial Limited and Merimbula RSL Club for their generous contributions.
