The site of the current toilets has been identified for a modest-sized pavilion which could include barbecue facilities, toilets, shelter and storage for lifeguards and would be a separate tender with an architect when funding becomes available. Council will investigate replacing the current viewing platform with a smaller and purpose built observation platform for the strict purpose of being an area used by lifeguards.
Plans for a bus turning circle, car park upgrades and a redesigned walkway/promenade along the front of the lower level car park will be drawn up when funding becomes available. The headland pathway will be reviewed following complaints regarding access.
