Lynne Koerbin has been nominated for her ongoing work in the disability field, her Pambula Rotary service and her efforts in establishing the carers accommodation project at the South East Regional Hospital.
The Wobbles Ukulele band has been nominated for Community Group of the year for its ongoing efforts to bring music to the aged community within the Bega Valley Shire and more recently for the creation of the Music Evolves Memories program.
Other Far South Coast residents nominated are Wendy Cook of Kalaru for her work at the FSC Animal Welfare League, and David Howard at the Tathra AFL club.
The NSW/ACT Regional Achievement and Community Awards are designed to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions of individuals and groups.
Finalists will be presented and winners announced on Friday, November 10. Six category winners will be presented with $2,500.
