About 11.25pm police were patrolling the Princes Highway, Merimbula when they noticed a Toyota turn left from Merimbula Drive onto the Princes Highway at speed. The vehicle was stopped and the driver breath tested.
She was taken to Merimbula Police Station and charged with mid range PCA and had her driver’s licence suspended.
Also over the weekend, a 47-year-old male was charged with mid-range drink driving after failing a roadside breath test on the Princes Highway at Frogs Hollow in the early hours of Sunday, July 23.
The man was arrested, taken to Bega Police Station, and will face Bega Local Court.
