Matches were held at the Lumen Christi Catholic College indoor courts, where officials said possibly the best showdown of the night was the division two fixture where the result was decided by just a single point.
Pallet Collars defeated the Merimbula Jewellers 39-38 in a thrilling finish.
“This was a real nail-biter that went down to the dying seconds of the game and could have gone either way,” a spokeswoman for the club said.
The division three contest was also a close call with just a few points separating the teams on the night as Merimbula.com just pulled away from the Merimbula Marlins 31-26.
Meanwhile, the division one contest saw Merimbula Fish n Chips shine despite being short of players to overcome the Merimbula Sharks 42-33.
“Fish n Chips only had four players, but were still able to take the win with standout performances by Spencer Wungluck and Ben Pettit,” the spokeswoman said.
In the girls final, the Merimbula Sharks had a close win over Pale Green 36-27.
Best and fairest for the girls was Chloe Suter from runner-up Jasmine Burton.
Award winners for the boys were Blake Suter and Blake Mylan in division three from runner-up Tyrone Vaufale.
Jedd Martyn was the division two winner from Paul Hazelgrove.
Spencer Wungluck took out the division one honour from runner-up Jeremy Scerri. The next competition will run in Term 3.
