Who's got the coolest canine, the most dapper dog, the prettiest pooch or the funniest furry friend? We want your puppy pics!
The Merimbula News Weekly, Bega District News and Eden Magnet are very excited to announce our very first dog photo competition.
This competition will run over 4 weeks and all entries are posted in the above gallery. Entries close Friday, July 14, 2017.
There are a number of different categories that dogs can be entered in to, however each dog can only be entered in one single category.
Not sure if your dog fits any of the custom categories, then this one is for you. An open category to showcase your canine companion.
Most Handsome Dog
This category is for those canines who exude charm, charisma and downright good looks. You know the type, aristocratic comeliness coupled with an intelligent piercing gaze.
Show us just how cute your dog is. Naughty cute is also considered acceptable for this category. Oh and puppies, all kinds of puppies, the more puppies the better.
This category is for dogs that like to be active or for working dogs. Submit a photo of your dog doing what he loves best. Entrants must be high energy and loving it!
Dogs who look like their owners
Now this is for the bold, the brave, the fearless, and the ones with a sense of humour. Submit a photo of yourself and your lookalike dog.
Plenty of opportunity to showcase the clown of the household. Entries must be entertaining and chuckle worthy.
