Council concern over grant index freeze
All the more reason why council should have been being fiscally responsible with our money not wasting it on building mega civic centres and going on spending sprees buying unnecessary properties and giving handouts to golf clubs etc. They need to develop a culture of being efficient on the ground, doing roadworks once and doing it properly, plus they need to show greater efficiencies in all of their public works.

As a sceptic that believes in offering alternatives, surely one of the best options for keeping our oceans and all life that is in it, in optimal order would be to cease using it as a rubbish pit i.e., dumping unnatural levels of sewerage and associated chemicals in it for a start.
