“We’re experienced stand up comedians, and while we initially thought we really had something together – I wasn’t quite prepared for just how much people are loving the show,” Mandy said. “I thought at our age we’d become invisible. I think that’s part of our appeal. We speak to women about their everyday experiences – we tell their stories on stage.”
Women Like Us is on stage at Club Sapphire on Friday, May 5. Tickets are $25, available at www.southeastarts.eventbrite.com.au or at the door. Doors open at 7pm. Show from 8pm. This is an 18+ event.
