An unknown person has entered a Ballantynes Road, Nethercote, property and turned off the power to an icecream van parked in the garage.

The van’s contents were ruined in the incident which police are treating as a malicious damage attack.
The incident occurred sometime between Saturday, April 22 and Sunday April 23.

Positive drug test
A 37-year-old driver was stopped on Upper St, Bega at 6.30pm on Thursday 13 April and was tested for drugs and alcohol with a positive oral fluid for methamphetamine. The man was arrested for a secondary test and issued a 24 hour prohibition notice. Analysis results are pending.
He was also issued infringements for proceeding through an amber traffic light and defects for rear worn tyres.
