The morning started with The Call to Remembrance, followed by the Anzac Prayer, with the Narooma Community Choir singing the hymns.
The catafalque party consisted of cadets from the Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra and Mark “Podge” Rogerson played the last post.
After the service, the crowd lined up for the Gunfire breakfast put on by the Narooma RSL sub-branch.
Among these present were three generations of the Oliver family from Narooma including officer Michael Oliver, who is training to be a Navy pilot at the Australian Defence Force Academy. He was joined by his mother Jenny and grandfather Ted.
