The Merimbula RSL sub-Branch is making the preparations to ensure that Anzac Day commemorations go smoothly on Tuesday, April 25.

As usual there will be a dawn service at Merimbula. Everyone is invited to muster at the War Memorial in Beach Street, Merimbula at 5.40am for a service commencing at 6am.
A toddy and milk with breakfast barbecue will be supplied by the sub-Branch after the dawn service.
As part of the service preparations Beach Street will be closed between Alice Street and Main Street from 5.30am till 7am.
The Pambula service will start at 9am. Anyone marching is asked to muster in front of the supermarket in Quondola Street at 8.40am.
There will be a march to the War Memorial opposite the Pambula Post Office for the service and wreath laying.
Quondola Street will be closed between Toalla Street and Bullara Street from 8.30am until 10.15am. Princes Highway traffic will be diverted to Merimbola Street.
The main Merimbula service is at 11am.
Those marching are asked to muster at the Merimbula RSL Club building at 10.40am. They will then march to Merimbula Beach Street War Memorial for a service and wreath laying starting at 11am.
Beach Street will be closed between Alice Street and Main Street from 10.30am to 12 noon.
Tony Toussaint, secretary of the Merimbula RSL sub-Branch said there would be slight traffic disruption in Main and Market Streets while the parade marches to the Beach Street War Memorial which would be for approximately 10 to 15 minutes
“The Merimbula sub-Branch apologises for any disruptions to traffic and thanks the public for their understanding and consideration on this special day,” Mr Toussaint said.
An Anzac Service will also be held at 2.30pm at Wyndham Memorial Park. This will be followed by a shared afternoon tea at the Uniting Church Hall.
In Wolumla the service will begin at 9am at the Wolumla War Memorial Gates after a march leaving from the Wolumla Hall.
