The well-known local entertainers will be joined by twins David and Geoff Willis on piano.
The performers are donating their time and all proceeds from the show will go towards the fundraising effort for Twyford Theatre by the Sea, the 200-seat raked theatre proposed for the site.
“It’s a show Michelle and I do; it’s about our story and falling in love,” Frankie J said.
“We’re a bit of a Brady Bunch and it’s also about moving on. It’s a show that’s told through songs, stories and a lot of laughs. People will laugh and they will cry,” he said.
Frankie J said he was a big supporter of the move to get a theatre built.
“As soon as I saw the plans it all clicked into place. I decided to help because it’s something that will service the whole area and will give us the ability to put on professional theatrical and touring productions.”
To demonstrate the need for a theatre, the Twyford Hall committee with the help of Frankie J, has arranged to bring a number of touring productions to Merimbula over the next few months.
Book tickets for How Sweet it is! through trybooking.com or Merimbula Newsagency. Tickets are $30 and shows are Saturday April 29 at 7.30pm and Sunday April 30 2pm. All proceeds go to the Twyford Theatre By the Sea fund.
