Council postpones road works

With the recent weather events and current forecast it was not recommended to continue with the advertised schedule of works.
Council has directed the contractor to cease work allowing stockpiles to dry out. Council will reschedule when suitable conditions are forecast.
When Council has confirmation on works recommencing, a revised schedule will be provided.
The areas affected are:
Microsurfacing
- Scott Street, Wolumla - this project will be our first priority due to its partial completion
- Lake Street, Merimbula
- William and Sharpe Street, Candelo
Resealing
- Myrtle Mountain Road
- Candelo Streets
- Wandella Road, Wandella
