The NSW Seniors Festival is held from March 3-12 with the theme of ‘Let’s do More Together’.
Programs and Partnerships Officer, Scott Baker said the library event is a chance for seniors to meet other people and to chat to library staff about the everyday services they offer.
“People are often surprised to discover the range of services libraries offer now; from technology help to our Home Library Service and family history resources,” he said.
Library Operations Team Leader, Samantha Fenton said the staff at all Shire libraries are familiar with a range of technology and social media platforms, and free technology help is always available.
The ‘Let’s do More Together morning tea will be held at 10.30am at Tura Marrang Library on Thursday March 9.
