Officials said memberships were on the rise with some good early interest, but are welcoming any interested new riders to join up.
A spokeswoman for the club said a rally-open day would kick off events for the pony club at the Pambula Sporting Complex on March 5.
“We’re eager to welcome new or old members to join in the horsey fun,” the spokeswoman said.
She said the Pambula Pony Club is growing with 24 riders already signed up for the year, ranging from as young as two to 17 years old, but new members were always welcome.
“If you have a pony or horse and just want to see what pony club is all about you can come and try for the day for $25,” the spokeswoman said.
“We’re also always on the lookout for volunteers who can share their horse knowledge with our members.”
The club holds a monthly rally day on the first Sunday of the month in a safe and friendly environment.
“We welcome people who’ve never ridden right through to the very experienced.”
The spokeswoman said the club was family friendly and a great sport to meet some new friends who share your interests.
