David Willis Entertainment will proudly present the explosive and dynamic Justice Crew at Magic Mountain for one night only on Thursday, April 13.
David Willis said this concert is following on from the huge success of Cosentino last year.
“This is the next thing I am producing here in Merimbula and I wanted something as exciting if not more exciting for kids as well as for adults,” Mr Willis said.
The fact that Justice Crew is an all-male group was one of the main reasons Mr Willis pushed to get them to perform on the Sapphire Coast.
“I thought we need something good for the boys to see that men can be entertainers. I hope this will encourage more boys to get involved in the industry,” he said.
Justice Crew formed in 2009 originally as a dance troupe and rose to fame the following year, as winners of the fourth season of Australia's Got Talent. The group then signed a record deal with Sony Music Australia and became recording artists.
Some of their hits include “And Then We Dance”, their debut single, and “Friday to Sunday”, which was their first top-twenty hit reaching double platinum.
Justice Crew’s 2014 hit, “Que Sera” rewrote the Australian history books, spending nine weeks at number one on the ARIA Singles chart.
“This isn’t just for the teeny-boppers, Justice Crew will appeal to people in their 20s, 30s and older. It will be good clean family entertainment.”
Justice Crew will be supported by the very popular local group, The Figmentz, who will kick-start the entertainment at 6pm. They will play their brilliant musical renditions of the world’s most loved covers until Justice Crew take the stage at 8.15pm.
There will also be a mini stage which will have interesting younger acts showcasing their juggling and magic tricks which are sure to keep the kids entertained.
Magic Mountain’s canteen will be open throughout the night but there will also be a food van.
“There will be something for everyone, I am trying to bring quality entertainment to Merimbula so people don’t have to go to Sydney or Melbourne,” Mr Willis said.
Tickets are currently on sale and Mr Willis is confident that they will sell out quickly.
“We have started selling tickets early to ensure that the local families that want to go can secure their tickets before the tourists come and it sells out,” Mr Willis said.
Tickets are $69 for general admission and can be purchased online via the Magic Mountain website.
