The event, running from January 20 to 22, is the world's largest game creation weekend.
While hosted inside Lumen Christi Catholic College in Pambula Beach, the event will also be taking place in over 900 locations across 90 countries worldwide.
Hosted by IntoIT Sapphire Coast, The Loaded Gamer, Devika, Lighthouse Innovation, 2pi Software, organisers are looking for anyone with an interest in story writing, art, music, coding and game testing to attend.
A Bega Valley Shire Library organised Game Development Workshop at the Tura Marrang Library in Tura Beach, on Friday will lead into the mammoth event.
Friday’s workshop course is for students taking their first steps with game design and development, and participants will be using the same tools as industry experts.
Both events are designed for participants under the age of 18 and mentors will be onsite to help development and troubleshoot any issues.
