Still looking for home
Mid 2015 our rental sold and we still hadn't found a home by settlement. My kids and I moved round caravan parks/holiday accommodation for 6 weeks before finding a home. The situation is no easier now.

I contacted the paper to list and pay for a classifieds ad seeking a rental. Soon after I was called back resulting in the latest story. I am happy they asked. I am pleased there are people who care. The shortage of housing in our area places an incredible burden on many of us, I agree. Thanks for sharing your viewpoint.

It would have been a stingray as they are all over Merimbula at the moment. I find it hard to believe it was a shark ! I'm up here and it's the first I've heard of it. Poor sharks get blamed for everything.

Fatal crash at Tilba
Once again these wonderful ambulance and police on hand to do their jobs. What would we do without them. They need more recognition and much more pay.

We were on our way to Tilba when it happened! The cops screamed passed us at Narooma and then we got diverted around via Mystery Bay. Didn't see what happened but the heli was waiting on the oval at Tilba when we left.
