Due to the rain the final was held indoors at the Lumen Christi school hall. This resulted in an intense fast paced match.
Tight defence and accurate shooting from both teams meant it was neck and neck throughout most of the game. There was only one goal the difference at three quarter time. However, the Maroon team held steady and ended up winning by seven goals, 47-40.
Merimbula Netball president Kath Musgrove said she was impressed with the talent on display from the two teams.
