Repairs to sections of the cycleway started on Monday, November 21 after inspections identified several sections requiring immediate repair.
The sections have been removed and reinstated with a 2.5 metre wide reinforced concrete pathway to improve longevity of the cycleway. A tree root barrier has been installed to prevent future failures.
Council urges pedestrians and cyclists to take particular care when using the cycleway and to ensure all signage and instruction is obeyed.
