Declan shone at the crease, while Joel showed immense consistency and accuracy with the ball in hand to dismantle Tathra’s hopes of victory.
Batting first, Declan smashed the Tathra bowling attack, slogging his way to an almost unheard of 91 not-out as Pambula surged to a 3/182 effort after their 40 overs.
Kynan Baker and Zak Keogh also hit solid run totals in the effort with Kynan notching up 31, while Zak hit 25.
Tathra would have been eager to pay back some of the result with the bat, but couldn’t best the bowling of Joel.
The young gun took the ridiculous figures of 6/29 off an eight-over stint with the ball that included a hat-trick.
Joel’s efforts also included two ducks, one off a clean bowl and the second to an lbw.
The Bluedogs are now fourth on the ladder and will host Bermagui at Pambula this Saturday from 1pm.
