Lachie Harvey’s first-up win in the U11 Ironman set the tone for the day.
Forty Nippers from Pambula joined clubs from Tathra, Bermagui, Narooma, Moruya, Broulee, Moruya and Batemans Bay.
In a likely first for any club, twins Jayden and Ashton Reyneke teamed with twins Archer and Flynn Whitby to take out the U11 relay, with the Whitbys sharing it among themselves to win the sprint and flags.
In the U9 beach relay Sydney Miller, Bianca Boag, Jontae Thompson and Fionn O’Duibhir took first place while Emily Walker’s hours in the pool paid off winning the U10 surf swim.
In the Under 12 board relay Patrick Broe, Sean Armstrong and Kai Holt finished first and Patrick and Kai up to win the surf teams event.
The team also finished fourth in the U8s wade relay and the all-age relay.
Nippers President, Andrew Holt said the Nippers made the club proud with their efforts.
