International speaker and author of the book Digital Cocaine, Brad Huddleston, is coming to the area on October 9, 10 and 11 to speak at a number of venues about the latest neuroscience on the effects of interactive technology upon the brain.

He will be speaking to Sapphire Life Church, a new church founded by Jeremy Fernando, on Sunday, October 9 at 5pm in the Sapphire Room at Club Sapphire. He will also be speaking on Monday, October 10 at a dinner at the RSL from 6.30pm and then will present to the senior school at Sapphire Anglican College on Tuesday, October 11.
Mr Fernando said that Mr Huddleston’s message on responsible and measured use of technology based around current neuroscience was very relevant to our society and particularly our community.
Mr Huddleston has worked with universities, schools, churches and law enforcement, speaking about the advantages of well-used technology tools and the dangers of the growing trend toward technology addiction.
